About Us

Tim’s fascination with Welsh vernacular furniture began when he first saw a Welsh stick chair sold in the auction room, in Carmarthenshire, where he was helping out, in his late teens. From being a regular helper he was soon a full time employee. In his early twenties he took a job with Richard Bebb of Country Antiques Wales and stayed for thirteen years. Betsan’s interest in antiques started when she was young but it wasn’t until she met Tim that her interest and passion for Welsh country furniture and folk art began ; roughly, she says at the same time as her passion for Tim began!

Together they form a dynamic team and they have created a gallery, which shows the furniture and art, in a setting, which is contemporary yet traditional. Their joint passion is now to collect and pass on to anyone who is interested the beauty, design in these once ordinary every day practical items of furniture and folk art.

Their gallery is open every Friday and Saturday between 10am and 5pm and at any other time by appointment. However, they regularly hold exhibitions in June and in November for which they produce high quality catalogues - please join the mailing list to ensure you receive your copy.

We publish regular Exhibition catalogues.

If you would like to receive a copy, please email us your details.
