Small Cardiganshire oak cupboard Sold
A small early 19th century Welsh linen press. Made from oak with a mahogany banded frieze under the cornice. Original bone escutcheons and turned ebonised knobs.
Small linen presses and cupboards were often found throughout West Wales; this example is particularly small, it comes in two parts and has two gothic shaped panelled doors enclosing a cupboard with a single shelf, the base with seven drawers.
