Welsh “lobster-pot” stick chair sold
A magnificent example of a “lobster-pot” chair. Made from ash with an elm seat, with turned birch front arm supports. The top rail is unusually decorative but chairs with similar shaped ornate rails are known. The chair retains traces of the original painted finish.
